This can be a satire. Why would I lie? The artist uses high burlesque and litote in a horation manner, indirectly targeting those who are rich and fashionable, trying to mock these people in order to show how useless it is to try to cover up their physical insecurities with an inexpensive item which is widely available (the item being the sunglasses), depicting a story with a man who is taken aback by a girl with such sunglasses.
